Director, Programs & Volunteer Engagement

现居加拿大埃德蒙顿,担任埃德蒙顿中文图书馆管理员及加西艺术学校中文教师。她热爱中国
古典诗词、毛笔书法等中华传统文化,长期致力于中华优秀传统文化的学习、传承与推广,积
极促进华人及不同文化背景人士对中华文化的理解与认同。
她积极策划中文图书馆双语文化活动及社区讲座,涵盖中华艺术、传统文化、生活教育和新移
民融入等内容。在加西艺术学校任教六年来,坚持将中文教学与中华文化相结合,希望以语言
为桥梁,传播中华文化,促进社区交流与文化融合。

 

Nieve Li is based in Edmonton, Canada, where she serves as the Librarian of the Edmonton
Chinese Library and a Chinese language teacher at Western Canada Arts School.
Passionate about classical Chinese poetry, Chinese calligraphy, and other aspects of
traditional Chinese culture, Nieve has long been dedicated to the study, preservation, and
promotion of China's rich cultural heritage. She is committed to fostering a deeper
understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture among Chinese Canadians and people
from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Nieve actively organizes bilingual cultural programs and community lectures at the
Edmonton Chinese Library, covering topics such as Chinese arts, traditional culture, life
skills, and newcomer settlement. For the past six years, she has integrated Chinese
language instruction with cultural education at Western Canada Arts School, using language
as a bridge to promote Chinese culture and encourage community engagement and
intercultural understanding.
